When pressing the New button and releasing it
not allowing the menu to show up a new shell
starts which immediately exits each time.  If
I press and hold on the New button and allow
the menu to pop up and then choose Shell it
starts a proper new shell.  If I do this again
and choose Midnight Commander (which I do not
have installed) the new shell again exits 
immediately.  It appears that the New now has
the default as the Midnight Commander where as
it used to be "Shell".  This ought to at least
be configurable or put back to Shell.
