For me it is very handy that ksnapshot proposes the last name, in most cases. But to have date/time as default filename would be a useful *option*. Yes it is very handy for me too that ksnapshot proposes the last name plus a number that is incremented in each subsequent screenshot and file save operation, but to me to have a date/time filename layout as default is more than an option since actually I need to batch rename my screenshots after working on it adding current date/time to each of them. This is an important feature request. Sometime I have to go through hassle of renaming screenshots because Ksnapshot is using a file name that already exist which won't be possible if screenshots are named based on time. It seems to be this one and Bug 291827 are duplicates? Hello! Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but this project has been unmaintained for many years and I will be closing this bug. Spectacle is the replacement for ksnapshot now. Please test again and file a new bug for Spectacle if you still have issues. Thank you! |
