Description Frank Steinmetzger 2012-04-09 13:21:18 UTC
PDFs can contain links to other PDFs (my use case: the documentation of the music engraver Lilypond uses a number of cross-linked, standard-named files such as notation.pdf, internals.pdf and learning.pdf).

It would be nice if one could open such a link in a new window instead of the current one, be it using middle-click, Ctrl+click or a link context menu.
The foremost reason for me is because Okular can't go back to the old document using the Back function. Another bonus is the possibility of easier parallel reading (I don't have to look for the link target's file in $filemanager).

Thanks for your consideration
