BACKGROUND:
I´m using new NIKON D3100 and new lenses 10-24 mm, 105 mm and 70-300 mm
First lens I intended to check in landscape picturing. Pictures seem to be overexposed by one shutter number, at least.
Rem.: This could be a problem of camera, the lens itself or of this very combination.

BUG EXPLORATION:
I tried to compare exposures from 105 mm with the ones made ba wide angles zoom 14-24 mm lens to unreveill the reason.

PROBLEM:
Unfortunately, when checking the "extendeed search" box, I found, that DK does _NOT_ distinguish several photo- capturing modes the camera NIKON D3100 offers.

There is only a small number of pre-defined modes, as
- automatic,
- without flash,
- porträt
- landscape
- flowers (near shot)
- sports
- night-snapshot

These modes emphasize different settings; "landscape" tries to maximize sharpness-range, sports uses short exposure times etc.

Please compare <http://support.nikonusa.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/16910/~/user's-manual---d3100---guide-to-digital-photography> pages 28 ff.

Whereas DK extended search offers many fine grained search options, there is no option to search for exposure types as described above.

As a consequence, one is not able to search all exposures made under a specific modus like ´landscape´ ´children´ etc. Therefore, it is not possible to do specific search for these items.

Most astonishing: when looking in "metadata" >> "EXIF / Producers remarks / IPTC / XMP" all these information is stored in the pics, completely!!!

SUMMARY:
Please enable _ALL_ metadata available for search purposes!!!

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. just enable all metadata for usage in the search menu!
2.
3.
Actual Results:
unsatisfying, as DK does not use existing information for further workflows.

Expected Results:
DK should take advantage of all metadata available in any picture.
At every plasce of DK, the prog should rely to the same data- independent of the very location, an user gets into contact on these.
