Description Eduardo Medina 2012-04-07 18:41:54 UTC
I don't know where is the bug, but Kgpg always crashes when I use it.

KGPG version: 2.7.1
KDE version: 4.8.1

Sorry for the language of the videos, are in Spanish, but I'm sure you can understand the actions.

I don't see a video or a link. Please tell me which actions cause the crash. Open keyserver? Open editor? Do something with clipboard? Does any of those things work if you use "kgpg -d" to fire up the editor and do it there? Which gpg version are you using?

Sorry, I've not seen the size limit.

AFAICS you were asked if you want to overwrite the destination file and skipped that, right?
Comment 6 Rolf Eike Beer 2012-04-08 15:16:02 UTC
Additional hint: you can change the application language to English in the Help menu.
Comment 7 Eduardo Medina 2012-04-08 15:44:09 UTC
You are so fast for me.

The GPG version is 1.4.12.

Yes, always I want to overwrite ("Sobreescribir" in Spanish is overwrite) or Cancel any action from there the application skipped.

I tell you the entire process:
- First I create the ASC file from the context menu in Dolphin (Actions – Encrypt File).
- I select symmetric encryption and I put a password to create the ASC file.
- Next I open the ASC file with a double click and the program ask me if I want to overwrite the file.
- I select any action and the bug skip.
Comment 8 Eduardo Medina 2012-04-08 15:53:29 UTC
Sorry, is not symmetric encryption, is symmetrical encryption.

Do you want I make you some video in english to see better the bug?

Sorry if I've made you confused.
