items such as theme, colour, font type, that are changed in system settings are not maintained or saved upon logging out and back in (or rebooting).  this is in KDE 4.6.5, Mandriva 2011, x86_64.

This bug has had its resolution changed, but accidentally has been left in NEEDSINFO status. I am thus closing this bug and setting the status as RESOLVED to reflect the resolution change.
