Some remaining problems with the GMA500/Poulsbo graphics system on an Acer Inspire One

uname -a :
Linux ubuntu 3.2.0-21-generic #34-Ubuntu SMP Thu Mar 29 22:13:29 UTC 2012 i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux

The 1366x768 mode works pretty well, thank you for this very much for that hard work. I nevertheless encounter three problems:
1) at startup, then graphical screen asking the username and password is black (so black that the retrolight is *off*). I have to do alt-ctrl-f1 and then alt-ctrl-f7 to have the screen light on and the rest is working fine.
2) The general light level, as in the battery power control, is not working: there is a horizontal bar graph which is adjusted with the cursor control, but the lightlevel is not changing.
2) after a sleep in memory, the weakup is black (screen light off) and the alt-ctrl-f1 alt-ctrl-f7 do not works, this time.

Many thanks again, Raoul

I assume it is a Kernel modesetting and/or XOrg problem.
Please report it on Ubuntu's Bug Tracking System and provide there a !full! output of dmesg and /var/log/Xorg.0.log.
