When manually filtering messages there are no log messages. (Log size "unlimeted") Changing size to 1024kb shows some messages but log viewer did not respond. After closing it can not be redisplayed.

kmail 4.8.2 ?

Not so easy to say. Kontact says 4.8.0, rpm says 4.8.1.

Kontact / kmail2 is such a desaster that I would trust rpm.
