QRcodes (what you call labyrinths) can be disabled in kaddressbook. In the View menu, uncheck "show QR codes" I see, ok, thank you. But then: shouldn't that setting also be reachable via kontact? It is. If you don't see this option in the view menu while using kontact, it likely means you're using an old version. Well, there is no "view" menu in Kontact when the contacts are shown. I use KDE SC 4.8.1 (Kubuntu). what does 'kaddressbook --version' return ? I can confirm that there is no "view" menu in kontact when the addressbook is shown. kaddressbook --version: Qt: 4.8.1 KDE: 4.8.2 Adressbuch: 4.8.2 |
