In a small usability testing, I tested the current implementation of the copy/paste feature for text.

These are my findings:
- the touch area of the buttons is too small, I would recommend to make it double the current size
- the buttons are too close to each other - better have one button width space between them
- the feature in itself is great, but the icon metaphor was not recognized by everyone. I know that in KDE and windows the same icon language is used, but here I heard interpretations like "Duplicate" and "add new page". Maybe a small label underneath the icons would make the action easier to understand?
- The order of the icons irritated me. Normally we say "Copy and paste". And normally this is the order the user takes: first copy the text you need, then paste them. Currently we have the buttons ordered in "paste" then "copy" - was there a specific reason to do so?

Which program did you use to test this? I am not able to trigger the copy & paste tool in VirtualBox.

It only works with the PlasmaComponents.Text* classes. The addressbar in the webbrowser, for example, and the text entries in the news app.
