Description Marc Schiffbauer 2012-03-23 11:46:44 UTC
Hi,

I have two IMAP Accounts configured. For one the "Offline IMAP" is enabled and for the other its disabled.
Now when I set kmail to offline mode, both accounts do have all mails available. (Status in Accounts dialog where akonadi resources are listet says that its currently Offline below Account name.

This might have security implications as mail is locally stored where it should not be.

Is this a real bug or do I have a f***ed up setup? I *may* be that I disabled offline for one account after if having initially enabled or the other way around...

This bug has only been reported for versions before 4.14, which have been unsupported for at least two years now. Can anyone tell if this bug still present?

If noone confirms this bug for a Framework-based version of kmail2 (version 5.0 or later, as part of KDE Applications 15.12 or later), it gets closed in about three months.

Just as announced in my last comment, I close this bug. If you encounter it again in a recent version (at least 5.0 aka 15.08), please open a new one unless it already exists. Thank you for all your input.
