Alternately, see how Empathy does IRC accounts. It's pretty neat. Their IRC account UI has a dropdown of loads of different pre set-up servers, it's all stored in an XML file that we can steal. I agree, as we discussed on irc *** Bug 295838 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** It's been agreed that IRC support is officially dropped until next year. Deferring this bug report. |
