Description nimok 2012-03-11 12:29:57 UTC
I'm using Kolab to store Events/TODO etc. on an normal email account via IMAP, which is not a dedicated Kolab server. I do not want to use Free/Busy information publishing and retrieval, and the setting calendar -> free/busy -> publish your free/busy information automatically is not checked. The option for retrieval is not checked either.
Whenever I start Kontact a dialog "Confirm Website Access - Kolab of type Kolab Group Ware Server" shows up asking if I want to login to the site corresponding to my mail server with my username, although the site does not require authentication. After clicking yes or no a pop up appears on the left right corner with the following error message:
"Could not trigger free/busy information update: http://[mail server login]@[my mail server]/freebusy/trigger/[mail server login]/Calendar.pfb"

When Kontact is running a new dialog shows up approx. every 5 minutes, which makes the whole software unusable with my settings.

The problem no longer occurs after updating to Ubuntu 12.04 including Kontact 4.8.2.

I can confirm this bug still occurs with 4.10.1. It's quite annoying, especially as the regular popups will cover the menubar of most programs. Also, it will sometimes change the screen resolution if a program is running fullscreen and it wouldn't fit otherwise.
