install debug package. With this backtrace and any specific actions to reproduce this crash I can't help you Funny: I haven't had a crash for three days now. I saw that openSUSE integrated a few backports and provided new packages four days ago. Maybe the bug has been fixed by coincidence ? Anyway, I installed the debug package (thought I had before...) and promise to generate a better backtrace in case of another crash. It appears, the issue has been fixed by whatever coincidence. I did not experience a single crash during the last week. |
Created attachment 69445 [details] kcrash backtrace I experience random crashes in Kmail2. The crashes started after upgrading to KDE-4.8 and still happen under KDE-4.8.1. There is no specific action I can relate to the crashes, they seem to be triggered by something in background, independent of user interaction. I would say KMail2 roughly crashes in average after about 5 minutes after being launched. Not exactly reproducable, but randomly again and again.
