Description Vadym Krevs 2012-03-08 11:30:16 UTC
My panel has the CPU monitor widget. This morning I upgraded to 4.8.1 from OBS. As a result, the CPU monitor widget does not display anything. When I open CPU MOnitor Settings, the list of CPU's is empty, and there is no way to add anything to it. This is a regression from 4.8.0.
Comment 1 Vadym Krevs 2012-03-08 13:58:02 UTC
The System Load Viewer applet also fails to display any CPU usage information - only RAM and swap usage.
Comment 2 Vadym Krevs 2012-03-08 14:04:48 UTC
Also the KDE System Monitor application fails to show any CPU history (RAM/swap/Network history are shown correctly). GNome's system monitor displays CPU history correctly.
Comment 3 Vadym Krevs 2012-03-09 15:35:10 UTC
Found a "workaround" -delete all files from .kde4/{share,config}/apps/ksysguard*.
Comment 4 Vadym Krevs 2012-03-14 10:14:54 UTC
Ignore the previous comment - the same issue happened again after a reboot, and the "workaround" from the previous comment no longer works.

Vadym, can you confirm you still have this bug in a higher KDE version? It works fine here and I don't see any other such reports.
Comment 7 Vadym Krevs 2012-06-07 08:19:09 UTC
I have not been able to reproduce it in 4.8.3.
Comment 8 Anne-Marie Mahfouf 2012-06-07 08:39:43 UTC
Thanks a lot Vadym for the quick feedback, closing this report now.
