I would like to see the menu bar still hidden after a session restore or a application restart. Please make this setting persistent.

Thanks for reporting .

You can make it persistant. Edit your default Konsole profile, and check/uncheck the "Show menubar in new windows" option.

See bug 288768 comment #1 and comment #10 to get better idea of this "show menubar" issue .
