Description Frank Steinmetzger 2012-03-05 23:22:30 UTC
After I scanned an image I am presented with the result in the preview window. When I now click on the Save button it this window, skanlite freezes. There is no no reaction to input, and also no CPU load. I can resize the preview window, but the layout doesn't update and closing the window also doesn't work.

When started from the console, there is no helpful output (in fact no output at all). The only difference I had in one try was that the file selector came up, but subsequently froze just the same and I couldn't resize it. I tried both 0.7 and then 0.8 to see if it was still there (which it is).

I disabled the preview setting, and I got a hanging file selector again after the scan was complete. Then I set skanlite to save the image without asking for a file name. This time it worked, the correct image was saved and skanlite did not freeze.

After submitting this I dug a bit further and included closed bugs in my search. Based on the results I got I let skanlite do its thing and after a while a responsive dialog did come up. So this is a duplicate. -_-
