Kernel: 3.2.6-gentoo x86 I have same issue wit Dolphin KDE 4.10.1 QT 4.8.4 LIBPNG 1.5.13-r1 On Gentoo AMD64 Can you check (e.g. with htop) if gwenview (or kio_thumbnail) is using the cpu while this freeze occurs? Does this freeze occur every time when you quit gwenview (also when you quit it right after startup)? @Bojidar Hristov: Is this reproducible with newer versions (>=4.9.1)?
