Version:           2.0.2 (using KDE 4.8.0) 
OS:                Linux

If I open Kamoso with no webcam no problem.
If the I connect my Hercules classic usb the app does not detect it.
If I open Kamoso with my Hercules classic usb connected kamso crash and makes my KDE session to crash.

Other information : no problem with Kopete but there is something similar with Skype that is unusable with this webcam with also a crash and crash of KDE session.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
as explained above

Actual Results:  
crash of Kamoso with KDE session

Expected Results:  
no crash at least event if thi Hercules classic webcam is not supported

OS: Linux (x86_64) release 3.2.0-17-generic

kamerka works fine.
By the way why a usb webcam is not recognized when plugged ; presentlty there is a need to reboot ; in which case which command to pass to make it active ?

I got one of this cameras (at least it looks alike) and it works well. Can you still reproduce this with a recent distro?
