Resetting assignee to default as per bug #305719 Sorry for the late response. If all KDE apps except Dolphin support utouch, I cannot really believe that special code is required to support it. But OTOH, we don't have any special "disable utouch" code that I am aware of, so there is probably some code required to make it work. Unfortunately, I neither have a touchpad nor any utouch knowledge. Can you provide a pointer to some KDE code that uses it? This does not apply anymore in Kubuntu 13.04/KDE 4.10. Not sure if Dolphin was updated (it uses its own view classes right? that might have been the cause) or if the utouch was "fixed". Anyhow, it's working now, so I'm ok if you close this bug. Thanks for the quick reply. Well, Dolphin already had its own view classes in KDE 4.8 (which you originally reported the bug for). I have no idea what fixed it - probably it was nothing in Dolphin itself. Anyway, it's good to know that it works now :-) |
