Description Florian Lindner 2012-02-26 10:12:39 UTC
Version: 2.5.0 (using KDE 4.8.0)
OS: Linux

Amarok can save various statistics (playcount/rating) to the media files. It would be nice if the given labels could also be saved to files.

Reproducible: Didn't try

Expected Results:
After given a label to file in amarok the file should be modified and a header tag which represent the label should be added to the file.

For statistics amarok uses the FMPS specification for saving stats to file (http://gitorious.org/xdg-specs/xdg-specs/blobs/master/specifications/FMPSpecs/specification.txt). AFAIK FMPS does not specify a field for saving labels.

this would be great! And related to the bug I just filed https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=302701

But how? There is no tag to write the labels to.

BTW, this is not related to Statistics Synchronization framework.

I'd love to see this feature available too...
