Version:           3.5 (using KDE 4.8.0)

I have two nearly identical laptops.
The lock screens look identical.

I need to know if I am logging on to (my computer names) Jupiter or Neptune
I saw no obvious way to do this.

This should be default behavior (here), and configurable downstream... The bug may be with kubuntu tho, I donno

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Have your screen get locked.
type in a password.


Actual Results:  
realize it was for the other machine.

Expected Results:  
see a nice big
SYSTEM NAME 
locked,
user blah locked it, enter password to unlock, override with admin etc..

I upgraded to 4.8, This happened with 4.7, I don't remember it being with 4.6, but probably was

My suggestion would be to switch wallpapers in the lockscreen - on the one hand there are ways to include a name from a design perspective without any issue to the Breeze theme but at the same time the same thing can be acquired by the user changing wallpapers on one of his/her identical laptops. (You can even add your computer Name to the lockscreen wallpaper in gimp and use that?)

I agree with Jens; just use different lock screen backgrounds.
