Marking as a duplicate of bug 297552, which contains a better description. Patch coming up. About the X Error: that's not related to the store and a separate bug. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 297552 *** |
Created attachment 69004 [details] a screenshot of the popup window Version: 2.5.0 (using KDE 4.7.4) OS: FreeBSD A popup window "MP3 music store" which says "Please select a valid country..." appears to be incorrectly formed - it is strangely placed and doesn't have a titlebar. Also the following message appears: X Error: BadWindow (invalid Window parameter) 3 Major opcode: 20 (X_GetProperty) Resource id: 0x620014b Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: Enable the MP3 Music Store plugin, if not already enabled. Configure the country setting to be "none of the above". Then just re-launch amarok in unhidden state. Actual Results: The troubled popup appears. Expected Results: Normal popup window. Perhaps the popup should not appear at all if I told the plugin that I do not live in any of the supported countries.
