Sentry Crash Report:

Description michael 2012-02-20 14:32:44 UTC
Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.6.5)
OS: Linux

I change the background to black-light yellow and after my session I start konsol again - but these settings have not been stored. The button ,,profile adminstration" (Profile verwalten - in German) does not react.

Reproducible: Didn't try

Steps to Reproduce:
Repetition, often.

Actual Results:
Change the setting and klick on ,,apply". Then go on with the new settings.

Expected Results:
The new settings were not stored.

Store the changes settings, as it was in KDE 3.5.

OK, you are using KDE SC 4.6.5 ....

The report problem is possible in that version. One possible reason is your current session is actually using a temporary profile which has no name. That could be due to the command line option '-e', the 'konsoleprofile' script, or some other usages.

Konsole has changed a lot in KDE SC 4.8. It will give warning if you are using a temporary profile and want to save changes. Please try Konsole-2.8.0 shipped in KDE SC 4.8.0 to see whether your problem still exists.
