Create a new calendar. Settings->General->Calendars Make sure it's checked in the Calendar Manager: Sidebar->Show Calendar Manager This is fixed in 4.8.1 Cannot get it to work. I think I'll just hang on for Fedora releasing 4.8.1 and hope. "Calendar Manager: Sidebar->Show Calendar Manager" Where is that exactly??? (In reply to comment #2) > Cannot get it to work. Settings -> Sidebar Enabling it should show the calendar manager at the bottom left, with checkboxes Progress!! The reason why everything was read-only was that the sidebar was completely hidden on the left. I noticed the tiny 3 dots and pulled it across. Second the calendar manager at the bottom was hidden out of view, when I found this I was able to select the calendar resources and add things! A usability suggestion would be to always ensure that the calendar manger and any sidebars are visible if they are enabled in the settings (including after a previous disablement) I still have other crash issues (different bugs entered) but I think I am almost up to the point I was before the upgrade! :-) |
