I have dome more testing and I must add that is not important what you have in the signature: the composer crashes even when the new signature is simple. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 287856 *** |
Created attachment 68877 [details] Crash backtrace Version: 4.8 (using KDE 4.8.0) OS: Linux I start to write a new message. I switch the identity using the dropdown box; the new identity has a {stupid|corporate mandatory|heavy} HTML signature. KMail2 crashes suddenly. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: New message. Click on the identity combo. Choose another identity. Actual Results: Kmail crashes. Expected Results: The new identity is accepted. I attach the backtrace with (some) debug symbols.
