Description Christos Lazaridis 2012-02-08 13:06:59 UTC
Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.8.0)
OS: Linux

In the "Details" windos of Get Hot New Stuff I find it quite confusing that the "Install" button is next to the "Close" while "Back" is on the completely other end. Even though I have it in mind, I find myself involuntarily closing the window completely instead of going back.

Reproducible: Always

Expected Results:
I'd expect a less confusing design. Maybe moving the "Install" button next to "Back" instead of next to "Close"? Of course it might be just me and other people do not find it confusing at all.

I can confirm that I often closed the complete ghns dialog, but only wanted to close the details dialog.

Hi,

kdelibs (version 4 and earlier) is no longer maintained since a few years.

KDE Frameworks 5 or 6 might already have implemented this wish.

If not, please re-open against the matching framework if feasible or against the application that shows the issue.

We then can still dispatch it to the right Bugzilla product or component.

Greetings
Christoph Cullmann
