Forgot to mention. I am using latest fglrx driver from Ubuntu repositories (fglrx-installer (2:8.881-0ubuntu4.1) oneiric-proposed). corrupted memory in the raster backend of QPixmap, called from the oxygen deco - export QT_GRAPHICSSYSTEM=native (or use the ubuntu config tool to select it) if this happens more often. There's a remote chance that this is caused by the oxygen decoration, but -given ubuntus patch-a-round in Qt- i frankly doubt so :-\ Passing to Hugo anyway. Another option would be that you ran out of memory, ubuntu certainly doesn't configure a swap device, do they? I've disabled it, since I have 8 GiB memory. I'm also constantly wathing it's memory usage (2.2 GiB). Will try the proposed workaround. Thanks. |
