- What I was doing when the application crashed: trying to get kpackagekit to quit so zypper could update.  typed as root # pkill -9 kpackagekit .  this killed it but when i logged out and back in it loaded back agian so i tried going into the settings to disable it.  thats when i hit this bug

- Unusual behavior I noticed:
zypper could not kill kpackagekit

The crash can be reproduced every time.
