Steps to Reproduce:
enable desktop effect with openGL rendering

Actual Results:  
in the attachment

Expected Results:  
crisp transition and rendering

looks like a driver issue (wrong texture transformation)
please open konsole, run "kwin --replace &" and post the output and also your kde version

i fiddled with system settings ... disabled openGL 2 shaders and it went away.

seeing this as well, also glsl blurring is HORRIBLY slow (compared to the ARB variant) on a 945G - maybe disable it in glplatform?
