I'm confirming this problem on an Asus 1201T netbook and KDE 4.8 (ArchLinux). On KDE 4.7.x it worked flawlessy. I'm confirming this problem on a Think x220 since KDE 4.8 on Arch Linux. *** Bug 293762 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** Confirming this in Kubuntu. Same happens when suspending to RAM. Power devil is not managing this event.
