Please do not use the phonon-backend-xine, it is deprecated and unmaintained since June 2011, use the gstreamer or the vlc backends instead. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 219241 *** Hmm, amarok is the only app that crashes. If it is deprecated and unmaintained as you say, shouldn't KDE 4.8 detect and automatically disable it??? It is up to the distribution to test and remove obsolete packages, we can't do much about that, the packagers have been notified in June 2011 already. |
