I have upgraded to KDE 4.8 (i had 4.7.4 before). Whenever i get a new email the text notification appears on screen after 10 seconds. That lag between the incoming email and the appeareance of text notification wasnt't present in KDE 4.7.4

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
New incoming email.

Actual Results:  
10 second lag of text notification.

Expected Results:  
There shouldn't be so huge lag.

I added it because there is a lag between get mail and apply filter.
So I close it as invalid

So should i now open it under different category or what? I am new in this bug tracking and doesn't really now what this "invalid" means really.

It means that it's normal and I will not fix it.
