Version: 2.0 (using KDE 4.8.0) OS: Linux When you try to delete a file in Dolphin by dragging it to the Trash entry in the Places panel, nothing happens. The file does not get deleted. Running dolphin from konsole, I get this report when attempting it: dolphin(31192)/libkonq KonqOperations::asyncDrop: Cannot drop onto KUrl("trash:/") Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: Launch Dolphin. Drag a file to the Trash entry in the Places panel. Actual Results: Nothing happens. Expected Results: The file moves to Trash.
