New crash information added by DrKonqi
amarok (2.4.3) on KDE Platform 4.7.4 (4.7.4) using Qt 4.7.4
- What I was doing when the application crashed:
After booting, started Amarok and tried to play something.
A notification appeared about falling back to another device. No sound.
Stopped Amarok.
Went into the audio settings through the mixer applet again.
Selected Internal sound Analog Stereo as preferred device and GStreamer as preferred in the internal tab.
Applied.
Tested sound successfully with the various sound buttons.
Tried sound in Rhytmbox and Amarok: No sound.
Not sure anymore when exactly Amarok crashed, but not long afterwards.
- Unusual behavior I noticed:
The sound always works in VLC and Firefox flash videos.
Amarok and Rhytmbox produce no sound. :(

Which is a typo, I just corrected that, it is solved in KDE 4.8, see also https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=210427#c66 *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 210427 *** |
