Description Andrea Diamantini 2012-01-29 08:38:19 UTC
Version: 2.0 (using KDE 4.8.0)
OS: Linux

Before dolphin 2.0 I was using "compact mode" to show files, that was exactly as the "details mode" is now, WITHOUT the navigations tree arrows.
In dolphin 2.0 "compact mode" is quite different and I find it "harder to read" then before, so I have to switch to "details mode".
There I cannot remove the navigations tree arrows. IMHO these have sense just in navigation panel views and I'd like to use a detailed view without them (as in windows, gnome or Mac OS file managers).

Reproducible: Didn't try

Steps to Reproduce:
Just compare "compact" and "detailed" modes from dolphin pre-2.0 and 2.0

Expected Results:
At least give an option to NOT show navigation arrow keys

OS: Linux (i686) release 3.2.2-1-ARCH
Compiler: gcc
