- What I was doing when the application crashed:

I have two sound libraries: Xine and Steramer.  Amarok crashes after I change the sound library and accept the changes by clicking OK in the Preferences window.

(BTW the original problem is that my Amarok no longer plays my music; it looks like the playback is on but I don't hear anything.  The test button in the preferences works fine.  I've noticed this after a recent update.)

The crash can be reproduced every time.

This is already solved in KDE 4.8

FWIW: you should not use hte xine backend anymore, as it is deprecated and ummaintained: http://lists.kde.org/?l=kde-announce&m=130744384419151

Please use the vlc backend instead.
