Description Jussi Kekkonen 2012-01-26 07:05:10 UTC
Version: unspecified (using Devel)
OS: Linux

Since upgrading to KDE SC 4.8, on every login the display settings are falling back to 1024x768 (some fallback incase system has no idea what resolution should be used?), and cloning on multi-display setup. Reconfiguring displays via Systemsettings and then saving the settings as default makes no difference, after reboot/relogin its back at the start. ~/.kde/share/config/kcmdisplayrc doesn't contain anything related to display settings.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Set display settings to use two displays as you like, reboot -> back to the fallback

Actual Results:
Fallback settings active

Expected Results:
Settings from last session active, or saved settings active
