Description gabriele monfardini 2012-01-25 07:47:01 UTC
Version: 4.7.2 (using KDE 4.7.4)
OS: Linux

Sites that uses flash animation are very slow.
The ui freezes, scrolling hickups and so on.
Some of my blogs uses flash only for advertising.
It would be nice to be able to disable flash altogether or, better, to adopt a "click to activate animation" strategy

Reproducible: Always

Expected Results:
In a perfect world I would click to activate flash animation only when needed (aka very rarely), so sites will be snappy and bandwith reduced.
The option to always/never/on-request activate flash plugin is settable in global akregator settings

Hi,
I think this is a good idea - akregator crashes for me every time a video loads with flash in it.
Cheers

Flash is now dead. It won't be missed.
