Alt+I, the designated shortcut/accelerator key to place focus on the text well in the Find bar, has no discernible effect.  In particular, the focus is not placed on the aforementioned text well.


Workaround

Alt+E, f puts the focus back.  So does clicking.

Steps to Reproduce:
Reproduction
~~~~~~~~~~~~
1.  Open a document (PDF used in test case) in Okular.
2.  Activate the Find bar with Alt+E, F.
3.  Enter find text in text well.
4.  Hit enter to activate Find function.
5.  Click in the document view window to place focus there.
6.  Hit Alt+I.
