Sentry Crash Report:

Description Matteo 2012-01-19 11:15:15 UTC
Version: 1.2.1 (using KDE 4.7.4)
OS: Linux

Muon have not root privileges, do not ask root password when it is launched, so I can update packages lists but than I can't upgrade packages or modify any root setting by Muon.
I'm still using synaptic (KDE desktop installed alongside a standard Unity Ubuntu 11.10 desktop, here).
I haven't another system to reproduce this, sorry.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Under Ubuntu 11.10 desktop, install kubuntu-desktop, muon and it's dependency.
Launch Muon, try tu upgrade, install, remove or change any package.

Actual Results:
You can't do any root actions.

Expected Results:
I do expect Muon to ask root password when it is launched

OS: Linux (i686) release 3.2.1-030201-generic
Compiler: gcc

Muon does not need to run as root, but it does need polkit-kde-1 to be installed.
