Created attachment 67831 [details] On the upper left is the preview and on the right the result… Version: 2.5.0 OS: Linux I'm using the "local contrast enhancement" tool with B&W pictures. The preview is really nice, but the result is really different and disapointing. See the example attached. In this example the original picture is a .XCF, but I have tried with the same picture as a .jpeg, and the problem is the same. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: Convert a B&W picture with the local contrast tool, preview is nice, but when applied, the effect is really different than the preview. Expected Results: Result and preview sould be the same.
