- What I was doing when the application crashed:
On every startup of KDE using either of the Windows VNC Clients TightVNC 1.5.4 (included with current Windows installer 2.0.4) or RealVNC 4.1.3 (free edition) get a multitude of "nepokmuk indexing disabled" messages followed by the attach crash.

Standard openSUSE 12.1 DVD install with minimal additional packages installed. File etc/xinetd.d/vnc unchanged from default.

Fault also 100% reproducible with default java applet vnc viewer (ie http://hostname:5801)

The crash can be reproduced every time.
