Words from Calligra beta 6, installed from Ubuntu beta PPA

Elements inserted doen't appear
When editing a formula, text doesn't get formatted: typefaces aren't applied and color pallet isn't present.
"View MathML" button seems to do nothing.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Create any formula and try to add elements (like fractions and roots), and try to change format


Expected Results:  
Elements should appear when inserted
Formula format should be immediately applied

Still reproducible with Calligra 2.4.0, with KDE 4.8.2 under Kubuntu GNU/Linux 12.04, kernel 3.2.0-24, x86_64

Well, we have a GSoC project for formulas this year and that should atleast solve some of your problems.

Ha, good to read that. I know there are others issues in components more used that _formulae_ that needs attention, it's just I work a lot with equations :).

Reproducible in Kubuntu 12.10 and Calligra 2.5.3 from the repos. I have to keep LibreOffice installed just because of this bug.

Still present in Calligra Words 3.1.0 on Kde Neon.

Most of the buttons in the formula editor don't do anything. If it can't be fixed easily, I suggest that the editor be removed.

Updated bug information to reflect latest testing.
