I want an option to split view of current window and gives two scrollbars that each are a view into same channel content. For lack of a better example, Excel does this for viewing spreadsheets where you need to see some content in middle while also seeing a header/footer or some sort. Ideally implemented for query windows and dcc chat as well as channel window, unneeded for server windows.
Bonus if there's an option to autosplit when the conversation scrolls off the top in a window that is not in focus.

I want the split view function to check on two or more channels at once. I am very surprised that nobody asked for it.

I want the split view for:
1. Multiple Channels
2. Multiple Servers
3. Multiple of any tabbable screen

Even having an option for multiple windows instead of a split view is good enough. That way, I can keep 2 or 3 windows open showing different things at the same time, which may/may not be on the same physical monitor.
