4.8 rc2:
When I click on a shortcut to a folder I get the following error: 
KDEInit could not launch '/home/pascal/someFolderPath'.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
drag a folder from dolphin to desktop and select Icon
Click it

Actual Results:  
Error dialog: KDEInit could not launch '/home/pascal/someFolderPath'.

Expected Results:  
dolphin opens I the folder.

Confirmed in KDE 4.8 branch

By dragging a folder onto the panel or desktop a URL was created before. Now in KDE 4.8 an application link is created (which misses the application).

Bug 292455 seems to be the same and fixed?
