Description H.H. 2012-01-08 11:42:08 UTC
Version: 1.0 (using Devel)
OS: Linux

I have written a test feed, which delivers always new articles.
Akregator often ignores fetching new articles from that feed, although I have deactivated browser-cache-settings in akregator settings.

But what always helps:
- go to akregator-config
- enable cache
- apply settings
- disable cache
- apply settings

from then on, the refresh works always for that session (until next restart of akregator)

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
see above

Actual Results:
see above

Expected Results:
see above

OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.37.1-1.2-desktop
Compiler: gcc

This bug has only been reported for versions before 4.14, which have been unsupported for at least two years now. Can anyone tell if this bug still present?

If noone confirms this bug for a Framework-based version of akregator (version 5.0 or later, as part of KDE Applications 15.08 or later), it gets closed in about three months.

Just as announced in my last comment, I close this bug. If you encounter it again in a recent version (at least 5.0 aka 15.08), please open a new one unless it already exists. Thank you for all your input.
