Description jeronymite 2012-01-02 00:35:12 UTC
Version: unspecified
OS: MS Windows

Several bugs:
GnuPG version 2.1.0.

1. Kleopatra hangs on first startup -- Stop the program and restart it and it appears OK
2. X.509 certificate notification have a different version (2.0.17?) from the actual version (2.1.0).
3. X.509 certificates cannot be sent in email -- click the button, info message appears, nothing else happens. Using Outlook 2010 as default mail client. Documentation is not enlightening on what to do.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Uninstall, reboot, re-install -- same issue.
2&3. Generate a new X.509 certificate.

Actual Results:
As described in Details above.

Expected Results:
1. It should just work.
2. Should be same version.
3. Should work or at least tell me what to do in a away that also can be actioned successfully.

OS: Microsoft Windows (unknown) release 6.1
Compiler: i586-mingw32msvc-gcc
GnuPG: version 2.1.0

1.) should be fixed in current kleopatra (KDE 4.10.3) coming with next gpg4win release
2.) 2.0.17 is the gnupg component release number, 2.1.0 the gpg4win installer package
3.) sending certificate request via email is not really supported for each mail client, especially outlook makes problems. Workaround: save request and send manually.
