As with bug 289981, I was trying to update all the packages to the beta, when the update-manager crashed.

I am not sure if this is the same as 289981 - the traces look different.

Jonathan, is 1.2.80 newer than 1.2.3? This looks like bug 270920.

Note that I was getting this error at the same time,

This is a similar crash in an entirely different UI. It's understandable why they look the same, though.

I must have missed this report somehow. I've been tracking it primarily at bug 291452, so I'll mark this one as a dupe of it in order to keep everything together.
