The message pane is supposed to show the selected message. However, its stuck on loading message. I double-clicked on the same message and new window opened immediately.

Version: Git (master) (using Devel)
OS: Linux

Using slow connections, when I click on an email message, it gives me a 'Loading' message and it gets stuck there.

When i double-click on the email, a new window opens up that contains the email message, which means the email has been dowloaded fine.

This doesnt happen all the time, but happens many times using an slow connection.

Reproducible: Sometimes

Steps to Reproduce:
Open up a folder

Click on an email message

Actual Results:
A loading message comes up.

Sometime, it works fine and after a while email message shows up.

However, sometimes, the loading message stays there forever, even if KMail has got the message.

I know that kmail has got the message, since if I double-click on the same message, a new window shows up the whole message immediately.

Expected Results:
KMail shows the email message whe its being downloaded.

An screenshot has been attached.

This bug has only been reported for versions before 4.14, which have been unsupported for at least two years now. Can anyone tell if this bug still present?

If noone confirms this bug for a Framework-based version of kmail2 (version 5.0 or later, as part of KDE Applications 15.12 or later), it gets closed in about three months.

Hi Denis.
I'm the original reported and I haven't seen this happen for a while now. I think its safe to close it. I'm marking it as INVALID.
